That was amazing! I am fascinated by the science of motivation, probably because I would like to figure out the triggers for my own motivation. I also related this to my own symptoms of ADHD, and I’m pretty sure that this information can be related to symptoms of bipolar disorder. Maybe if, when people are coming down from a “manic phase,” they took good care of themselves and did not listen to all the negative thoughts that rush in, they would be able to come back up to a fairly well functioning level quicker.
