During the next few episodes, I will be sharing some of the highs and lows of my journey into motherhood and some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Today, I start from the very beginning to discuss an extremely sensitive and difficult topic…the miscarriages that I went through before having my baby.
There is no manual on how to grieve a miscarriage and no common known ritual to help bring closure. A miscarriage often comes with a sense of loneliness, fear and even guilt. Today I shared my personal journey in hopes that by speaking about my experience I help others feel less alone. Whether you’ve had a similar experience or not, I share some lessons I learned on the way about how to move through a difficult time.

Wow, Jess! I have been waiting for a new episode, and you really put it all out there for us! You certainly have been through a lot, and I appreciate you sharing so much with us. After all the podcasts, Summit interviews, your book, facebook posts, etc… I feel like I know you. You are wise beyond your years, and my very favorite interviewer (I mean that!). Looking forward to the next episode – and each one to follow. Take good care of yourself, and thanks for everything!
