I was saddened to learn last week that Roger Callahan, who discovered the tapping process and the breakthrough combination of physical tapping and modern psychology, passed away at the age of 88.
Roger, over thirty years ago, had the breakthrough session with his client Mary, who had a water phobia that cleared through tapping and he developed TFT (Thought Field Therapy).
You might remember the story in more detail from the first chapter of my book (if you don’t have my book and want to read that story in more detail you can read the first two chapters for free here: www.thetappingsolution.com/free-ts-ebook-thankyou.php)
Gary Craig, one of Roger’s students, modified his process and developed EFT, which is the form of tapping I was introduced to over a decade ago.
While I never had the opportunity to meet Roger, I’ve always been grateful for his incredible discovery and what it has done to change my life, the lives of those I love, and the world at large. I know that the amazing work I get to do today is due in large part to Roger’s brilliant work and insights and feel humbled to play my part in continuing this transformative work.
In honor of Roger and his legacy, my brother, sister, father and I (it’s a family business after all!) are making a $10,000 donation today to the TFT Foundation, which has similar aims to the Tapping Solution Foundation’s work, in spreading this powerful tool around the world.
Thank you Roger for your enormous contribution to my life and to the world.
